Just a few months ago, we announced that we’d promoted Jake Wells as our Vice President of Customer Success due to his rich intelligence background, his dedication to our customers, and his ability to help our customers improve their intelligence operations.
Given our record 2016 and the rapid growth of our customer base, we sought to expand our Customer Success team with top-notch talent capable of helping more organizations and business functions make more effective and efficient decisions using Business Risk Intelligence (BRI) derived from the Deep & Dark Web. The goal of Customer Success at Flashpoint is to serve as an extension of our client organizations and assist them in utilizing BRI to help navigate difficult decisions.
To that end, I couldn’t be more pleased to introduce our two new Directors of Customer Success: Glenn Lemons and Chris Foster.
Glenn previously served as the acting Director of Citigroup’s Cyber Intelligence Center. He was responsible for analyzing and reacting to intelligence from a variety of threats, which ranged from fraudulent activity and attempting to defraud Citi’s clients to supporting security operations for the firm’s worldwide network presence. He has extensive experience working with multiple clients across the financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, and public sectors.
Glenn has more than 26 years of intelligence experience within the operational and support communities in the U.S. military and federal civilian service; seven of which focused on both defensive and offensive cyber operations. While working for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, he testified numerous times before U.S. Congressional committees and member requested open and closed sessions.
Chris is a career intelligence professional with more than 15 years of experience serving various public and private organizations in U.S. Defense, Intelligence and Energy Sectors. Chris came to Flashpoint from FireEye iSIGHT Intelligence where he worked extensively with clients to empower them to become intelligence-led security organizations. During his tenure with iSIGHT, Chris collaborated onsite with over thirty Global 500 clients in three countries and collaborated virtually with more than forty clients. Before iSIGHT, Chris worked with Chevron where he led the cyber intelligence lifecycle project and served as Chevron’s cyber security liaison to the US Department of Homeland Security.
Additionally, Chris worked in the public sector for over a decade at numerous organizations, including Booz Allen Hamilton and SAIC, supporting various U.S. Military and Intelligence Community operations in the cyber security and counterterrorism domains. He spent five years deployed to conflict zones in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Flashpoint has had an incredible start to 2017 and attracting talent like Glenn and Chris continues to position us as the leading provider of BRI. I remain humbled by how much our team has been able to accomplish — from supporting some of the largest companies in the world with sophisticated intelligence programs to customers with nascent teams whom we’ve proudly helped mature into intelligence centers of excellence.
