Al-Qaida's Committee in the Arabian Peninsula has issued an authenticated statement claiming responsibility for yesterday's failed suicide bombing attack on a major Saudi oil refinery in the eastern town of Buqayq on behalf of its "Brigade of Shaykh Usama Bin Laden." According to the initial communiqué, "the mujahideen [from the brigade] managed to prepare two car bombs that were driven by martyrs inside the refinery."  A second follow-up statement published several hours later by Al-Qaida named the "martyrs" as wanted militants Mohammed al-Ghaith and Abdullah al-Tuwaijri.
