New Images of 9/11 Terror Architect Ramzi Binalshibh

Flashpoint Global Partners has obtained new images of confessed 9/11 architect Ramzi Binalshibh, who is being held pending trial at a U.S. military facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. These are the first new public images of Binalshibh to emerge since the 2006 release of the Al‐Qaida propaganda video, “Knowledge is For Acting Upon”—in which Binalshibh was shown meeting with several senior Al‐ Qaida leaders, including Abu Hafs al‐Masri (at right) and Usama Bin Laden. During a 2002 interview with al-Jazeera journalist Yosri Fouda, 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed identified Binalshibh as "the coordinator of the Holy Tuesday operation," adding "and yes, we did it." The latest images of Binalshibh appear to have been released by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) directly to Binalshibh's family.
AQAP Senior Commander Sheikh Abu Sufian al-Azdi (a.k.a Saeed al-Shehri): “Together: To Overthrow Al-Saud”

On August 10, 2010, an audiotape featuring Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) senior commander Sheikh Abu Sufian al-Azdi (a.k.a. Saeed al-Shehri) titled “Together: To Overthrow Al-Saud” was released. Al-Azdi claimed that “the Jews and the apostates from the rulers of the Arabian Peninsula are in an alliance that was formed by America, and Iran and their Arab Shiite supporters in the region are in another alliance…And what is expected is for the war to begin by the Jews against Iran, and the reality of the battle will be in the land of the Peninsula and the ash-Sham [Middle East]: the Jews in the ash-Sham and Iran in the Peninsula.” Calling for the overthrow of the Saudi government, al-Azdi requested support from “those who belong to the military air-force, or officials in weapons storages, or officials in the army or the interior, or centers of operation and media rooms.” Specifically, he asked those who work “in the Ministry of Interior and who can bring important information that may benefit the mujahideen in assigning their targets—like houses and roads and the officer of Ministry of Interior officials—then he must send it to us via the military email that belongs to the [al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula] Organization.” And al-Azdi urged “any of you who is a pilot should search of martyrdom above the skies of Palestine, and any of you who work in the navy should point his weapon against the Jews there and receive the honor of martyrdom…”
Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb Commander: “We Don’t Surrender…We Win or We Die”

On July 29, 2010, an audiotape featuring Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) commander Abu Musab Abdel Wadoud was released titled, “We Don’t Surrender…We Win or We Die.” In the tape, Abdel Wadoud argued that “calls to recede and surrender are proof and a confession from the enemy that the military solution has failed, as the apostates have realized that defeating the mujahideen militarily is highly impossible…the sword destroyed the arrogance of those murdering criminals who shed much of the Muslim blood. And we praise Allah because the rains of bullets and the infiltrations of the intended-martyrs and the detonation of explosive devices shattered their hegemony and brought humiliation upon them.” He then vowed: “We do not surrender. We win or we die. We do not surrender. We win or we die. First you have to fight our Jihadist generation and our men who are spread in the mountains and the valleys, in the cities and the deserts…” The U.S. Treasury Department has noted that in 2006 Abdel Wadoud “stated that he had consulted with...Ayman al-Zawahiri regarding AQIM's upcoming plans and missions in Algeria and the Maghreb countries.”
Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula: “Martyrs Taken from Amongst You”

On July 21, 2010, Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) released a video recording titled, “Martyrs Taken from Amongst You”, in which AQAP dismissed ties between Al-Qaida and Iran: “…you’ll remain unsuspecting in your sleep, keeping your hopes hung on the betraying cooperative rulers in the region, believing in lies that the mujahideen are agents for Iran? In Allah, we disown this accusation, and every distal and proximate person knows the approach of the [Al-Qaida] Organization in dealing with every apostate tyrant; deterring and fighting every enemy of Allah and His messenger. Thus, by Allah I ask you: who stood against the danger of the Shiites in Iraq and deterred their aggression from the Sunni people, but the honest mujahideen? No one will defend the Sunni people but the mujahideen who stand against injustice and do not accept inferiority in their faith.” AQAP also revealed that “the news of bombings and operations and victories waged by the mujahideen used to reach the prisoners at Guantanamo in spite of the lengthy distance and the elevated secrecy over them…the scene of lowering the American flag used to alert them about some revenge against the Americans overseas.”
