TeishanThe "Brigade of Yusuf al-Ayyiri", affiliated with the "Abdullah Azzam Brigades", has released a statement claiming credit for the bombing attack on a Japanese oil tanker in the Persian Gulf. Recovered by analysts from Flashpoint Global Partners, the statement was accompanied by a photo of the apparent suicide bomber responsible for the attack.

A previously unknown militant group calling itself the "Abu Dujanah al-Khorasani Brigade" (in honor of Camp Chapman suicide bomber Humam al-Bilawi) has claimed responsibility for sending "chemical letters" to the U.S. Embassy in Paris, France.  The statement was posted by a new user on Arabic-language Al-Qaida messaging forums, and was subsequently recovered by analysts at Flashpoint Global Partners.

Militant Group That Claimed Poison Letters Targeting U.S. Embassy in Paris Seeks to Hit More Embassies

On August 3, 2010, a previously unknown militant group calling itself the "Abu Dujanah al-Khorasani Brigade" (in honor of Camp Chapman suicide bomber Humam al-Bilawi) claimed responsibility for sending "chemical letters" to the U.S. Embassy in Paris, France. The same party responsible for the "Abu Dujanah al-Khorasani Brigade" claim has posted a second message urging supporters, "if you want to carry out jihad, all you have to do is leave the addresses of the embassies in your country, and if possible, with pictures and other information -- or put the names of tourist hotspots and their locations, along with the locations of crusader tourists.  As far as information goes, the mujahideen need such information regarding water straits and ships now and urgently."

Islamic State of Iraq Claims Responsibility for Attack on Al-Arabiya Headquarters

On July 29, 2010, the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) claimed responsibility for the July 26th car bombing of the Baghdad headquarters of the Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya Arabic-language news channel: “In spite of claims by the apostates of having previous knowledge about plans to attack the target, and boasting about their ‘intelligence’ information and their ‘security’ procedures, the executing brother was able to arrive at the building of the wicked Satellite Channel [al-Arabiya] after infiltrating the security measures and a number of check points, which the apostates and the security companies that contract with them in building around the targeted area that connects with the fortressed Green Zone. And the explosives-laden vehicle bombing led to the complete destruction of the building’s interior structure, as well as the surrounding buildings…” The ISI warned that “we will not hesitate in targeting any party or media establishment and [we will] chase their units wherever they are present. As long as it insists on being a tool in the war against Allah and His messenger…”
